I have been going to Holistic Balance for the past four months for my chronic myofascial tension and migraine issues and the improvement I’ve had is wonderful. For the past couple of years I have struggled with issues related to muscle tension and the doctors I’ve been to have been of little help, but after a first consultation with Holly, she was immediately able to pinpoint the problems with my body and help treat and relieve them over time in each session. Holly Xu is an amazing therapist and each session I leave feeling much lighter and more relaxed, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Holly from Holistic Balance is one of the best therapists I've been to. I initially found her through overwhelmingly positive reviews, and she lived up to the hype.Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and effective with her use of multiple therapy modes, but she goes the extra mile to ensure comfort. The heated blankets, stones, and thoughtful touches like the "bit of pamper" (heated towel and water) at the end are what really make the difference, especially during the colder months.Holly's delightful sense of humour makes even the toughest sessions enjoyable. From "your muscles are screaming" to "torture? Good torture" during cupping, her jokes lighten the mood. While some work is necessary painful, I always feel significantly better after leaving. My highest thanks and recommendation for her dedication!

Holly’s ability to identify the causes to my muscular & joint pain in different areas of the body is incredible. With a simple touch she knew exactly what I was feeling. I came to Holly Xu with several painful issues - the result of years of bad posture and an exercise regime that exacerbated those issues that I had. She is a skilled and knowledgeable therapist with a very caring and calming nature. Each massage session helped to ease my pain and the alternate exercises she suggested have also helped enormously. I no longer take painkillers at night and her work played a significant role in that outcome. She also painlessly administered dry needling. I’ve been coming here for more than 6 sessions by now, and every time has been great. I came in feeling tight and having trouble sleeping, but after a few cupping therapy sessions with Holly, I feel so much better!She’s incredibly skilled and always makes sure I’m comfortable. Superb experience -I shuffled in with a very painful back problem and walked out pain free and feeling taller ! Jerry not only provided an excellent treatment - - the dry needling was so carefully done I had to ask if the needles were in and as for their removal I struggled to even tell it was so carefully done. After the session Jerry explained exactly why the problem was there (sway back) and gave me exercises to create the required core strength so as to create a lasting change not just after his therapy sessions. Highly recommended !!

I have had a long-standing back issue and had treatment by a number of different health practitioners over time. Whilst I made some progress I felt that I needed a "fresh set of eyes" to achieve the results I was seeking. I first saw Holly a few years ago for neck & back pain, and recently returned as I remembered her amazing work! She has already helped me tremendously with my back pain and a work-related injury. I had a persistent eye-twitch which I thought was related to something else, but after only one session on my neck and back it went away completely! I came across Holly by googling a myotherapist, her reviews were wonderful.Holly has a magical touch and is able to find areas of tightness I didn't know I had.It was explained to me to get the most benefit for my body was to make a committment of 4-6 weeks, a massage once a week.This involved working on sections of my body with massage, hot rocks, and cupping.I do look forward to my weekly pleasure and pain.My body is feeling lighter, less tight and compressed. I will be having a monthly maintenece massage, to keep my body in check.There is always a warm glass of water before and after your time with Holly.The other benefit was the Qi Qong, the eight brocades, I do them every morning, simple and effective to warm up the body.The premises are a reflection of who Holly is, calm and relaxing.Her plants and artwork conducive to the whole experience.I highly recommend her, the service is A+
