About the practice and the role:
HolisticBalanceMelbourne is a fast-growing therapeutical massage practice located in Hawthorn, Melbourne. We offer Myotherapy and remedial massage services along with many types of massage, as well as act as a hub for healthcare practitioners modalities ranging from chiropractor to psychology.

We are seeking skilled Myotherapists and Remedial Massage Therapists to join us on either part-time or full-time base. Being able to perform treatments including not limited to remedial massage, myotherapy/dry needling, relaxation massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage. Any additional modalities like the hot stone, facial massage, cupping therapy, trigger point therapy, pregnancy massage and lymphatic drainage massage are an advantage. If not, in-house training will be provided.

As a team player and a dedicated practitioner, you will work with your clients to develop the best treatment plan for them. Being passionate about customer service is a must. We are looking for individuals with whom we can develop a long-term professional relationship.
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be required to have good people skills as this job is all about working very closely with clients.
Tasks include:
- Client interactions such as welcoming clients, getting them to fill in forms and necessary reception work.
- Taking a thorough case history.
- Performing assessments on clients.
- Delivering quality soft tissue work.
- Creating a treatment plan.
- Clinic duties such as filing, laundry, keeping clinic clean and tidy.
- Continued education – keeping up to date with new techniques and continual learning.
- Business development – team presentations to promote our services and excellent results.
Skills and experience
Must have:
- Minimum Advanced diploma of Myotherapy or Diploma of Remedial Massage
- Qualify to hold health provider numbers with all significant health funds.
- Hold professional Indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Apply First Aid level 2
- Current ABN
- Computer Savvy – Use of an online booking system, basic knowledge of social media marketing.
